Tutoring by Appointment

Tutoring is available throughout the year (although off-semester tutoring appointments are limited). Tutoring sessions may be conducted in person or online and focus on writing skills ranging from grammatical and mechanical concerns through brainstorming, organization, content development, source documentation, and online research. Clients may meet with writing specialists as needed throughout the year.

** WSIP does not offer tutoring for Comprehensive Exams. Contact 621-5849 for questions about purchasing editing services.

** REVIEW OF COVER LETTERS, RÉSUMÉS, AND CVS IS NOW PART OF OUR JOB MARKET PREPARATION SERVICES.  PLEASE SEE OUR FEE-BASED SERVICES.**

Please note: While we are happy to work with you, our schedules are full, so individual tutors can’t always see students and other clients who request them directly. If you are not able to schedule the tutor you have requested, please remember that all Writing Skills faculty can help you. You can read more about our faculty under "About" (http://wsip.arizona.edu/faculty-staff).

UA Students

Registered UA students are eligible for one free individual tutoring session within a two-week period and one free writing-group session within a two-week period. If you need to schedule more frequent appointments, they will be fee-based.
